Let Them Know – Feeling Grateful

This a little bit of a different post for me but one that I think is so important. I am sure if I was to ask you to name the most important people to you in your life, you could name them in an instant. I am also sure you could tell me exactly why they mean so much to you and why you love them. But here’s a question…. have you told THEM how much they mean to you? I mean really told them? I bet the answer is no.

Life in 2017 is very fast paced for us all, and with so much being digital now, its very easy for us to rush through our lives, always expecting the important people to be there.

I lost my Dad when I was 18 and ever since, our whole family has been brought even closer. When you lose a parent suddenly, it really brings it home that life is short and sometimes right now is the best time to let them know you care. With that in mind, I decided to let my wonderful Mum know just how much she means to me.

My Mum has recently battled breast cancer and has come bouncing back with more energy than ever before. She is the strongest female I know and I am so proud to have such an incredible role model to look to for advice (daily!!)

She has raised myself and my three sisters to be the best Mothers we can be to our children, and for that, I am forever grateful. Instead of sending her a text or email, I have decided to write these feelings down on paper, and send it to her. I know it would be an amazing surprise to receive this in the post, and with it being hand written, it makes it all the more sacred and special.

So as you’ve been reading this, and have probably had one or two people come to mind who are important to you… Why not to the same? Why not sit down and write a letter or a card, and send it to them. I can’t tell you how much they will appreciate it.

Also, if you want it to reach them in time for Christmas, be sure to check the last dates for posting here www.anpost.ie/postingdates

Go on….Let them know how much they mean to you…

Lots of Love,

Rosie x
